Dune 2021 Movie – Storyline :

Review of Dune Part 1 (2021 Movie) :

"Dune" is a good book and it, along with its subtitles, reads compellingly. However, there is NO short or easy reading and to make a decent version of the original book, it is hard to imagine doing anything other than doing a little series. This was one of the few reasons why I hated the David Lynch version since 1984. He focused so much on the short film that it was often confusing… .and the director himself hated the film. Apparently, the studio took the movie away from him and tore it to pieces ... thus making it very confusing. Because of this, I was not interested in seeing this version of 2021… .I even learned that it was the first part and the second film will finish the first book “Dune”.

So, from the beginning, this film can not help but be better than the 1984 version. BUT, it can do something I didn't expect… actually VERY long ... or sound due to the movement and the funny number of big scenes didn't happen much but you see a lot of eye candy… and cool music. . In many ways, it reminded me of the first movie “Star Trek”… which was long and tedious… and has many scenes where you can just see a ship flying through space! Also, in "Dune: Part One" there are too many scenes like this and there is not enough emotion and conversation.
