The road sign points the way to a section of the northern Mexican desert known as the Zone of Silence.
In an area known as Mapimí, a closed basin that shelters ancient lakes in the great Chihuahua desert in northern Mexico, an unusual site known as the Zone of Silence is located. It is a space covered with thousands of myths, especially since half a century ago the NASA rocket ship crashed into space. From there continued rumors of general meta operations became stronger.
In this area they have found many marine remains, from prehistoric times the space was submerged in the waters of Lake Thetis. Among the many spatial exploration we can find: areas with high concentration of aerolite fragments, a local tortoise species, low distribution of purplish nales, and a metal obelisk over two and a half meters high.
Nowadays we can find a pile of rocks that look like the Star of David, celebrating traditions dedicated to inspiring ordinary activities. However, apart from the experience of aliens, and other similar myths, in the Silent Zone, asteroid and galactic showers often continue - meteorites older than our galaxy and solar system found there.
In a nutshell, this is a crowded place, lost in the hardships of the Mexican wilderness. The enclosed space is encased in a mysterious cover that reminds us that, perhaps, the material world is just another character in this great theater, life.
