He Wheel of Time follows Moiraine, a member of Aes Sedai, a powerful organization for women who can use magic. He takes a group of five young people on a journey around the world, believing that one of them could be the rebirth of a dragon, a powerful man who was prophesied to save the earth or destroy it.

The new version of the series was announced on April 20, 2017, produced by Sony Pictures Television in partnership with Red Eagle Entertainment and Radar Pictures. Rafe Judkins was expected to work as a series producer and producer with Rick Selvage, Larry Mondragon, Ted Field, Mike Weber, Lauren Selig and Darren Lemke. McDougal was appointed to act as a consultant producer. [17] By October 2018, the series had been updated for a year, and Amazon Studios had agreed to produce it. Uta Briesewitz was confirmed as director of the first two episodes in February 2019. On May 20, 2021, Amazon revived the series for the second season before the series began.
